First of all, this is a brand new program which is being "beta tested."  What is beta testing?  It's when someone decides to "roll out" or unveil something brand new to the world, with the implicit understanding that because it's brand new, it's bound to have some flaws and challenges that need top be worked out over time.  The only way to figure out how some things work is by actually trying them, in real time with actual human beings, and then fixing whatever issues come up as you go along.  So we're acknowledging up front that we don't know how this is going to go ... but we have some great ideas and we're ready to launch them, or to at least try.

So, what is this supposed to ultimately be?  Well, most artists, labels, promotional companies, etc. have "street teams."  This is where you sign up to promote something, in the real and/or digital world, in exchange for some sort of non-monetary compensation.  For example, a band hires you to be on their street team, and for going out and putting up posters in you local area, you receive a free CD and some merch from the band.  Or perhaps a label puts you on their team, and then gives you assignments to do online to help them promote their artists, in exchange for free tickets and backstage passes to some of their tours.  

Team ipm will involve some of those same things.  As a member, we will give you certain assigments to do, primarily online, in exchange for certain perks here and there.  However, we also want to offer our team members, also know as Impact Players, an opportunity to actually earn money working for us.  Whenever a refers a prospective client to us who then purchases any promotional services through ipmNation.com, that Impact Player automatically receives a 15% commission on any money that specific client spends with us, for as long as that client continues to use our services.  This is a great way for Impact Players to not only enjoy and learn the ropes of the industry, but to actually make an extra income.  (Team members are NOT considered employees of ipmNation.com, but rather independent contractors, and are therfore responsible for their own taxes.)
